About this activity

Over 50 animals make up the largest petting farm in west Michigan, including camel, llamas, alpacas, goats, miniature ponies, donkeys, ducks, rabbits, sheep, wallabies, fallow deer (new 2012!), Chinese pheasants, Zebu (miniature cows) & more!

Jumping pillows, gem mining, pedal carts, wagon rides, barrel train rides, 8-acre corn maze with a new theme every year, enchanted forest, large selection of climbing toys, pumpkin chucker, left-only maze, bee observatory, u-pick apples & pumpkins. New for 2012: fruit cannons-check out Bunker Hill!

In season fresh fruit grown on our 800-acre family farm. Homemade fudge. In-store bakery. Gift shop. Seasonal treats like carmel apples and apple cider.

Bloosom tours, school tours, fall tours!

Tour buses welcome! Free parking. General admission is $2/person.

Special features during fall months include musicians, magicians, balloon tying, face painting, camel rides, reptile trailor, mimes and more!

We offer extended hours during the fall; please call ahead for those and fruit availability. Open M-Sat at 9am; Sundays at 10am.

Lewis Farm Market and Petting Farm FAQ’s

We hold several community service events every year, including:

A) Day Care Days, open to all licensed day cares in the region it includes free admission and a barrel train ride for everyone, as well as lunch specials.

B) Adult Care Days, open to all licensed foster care, adult care, nursing homes & their care-givers in the region. It includes free admission and wagon rides, as well as lunch specials.

C) Charity Fundraiser: Events include a scarecrow and painted pumpkin auction and sunflower sales with 100% of the proceeds given to selected area charities.

Oh, the yummies!
You must try the donkey-do bread. Assorted breads including our famous Cheesy bread, fruit flips, tarts, cookies, donuts, cinnamon rolls: All made on-site in our bakery.
Seasonal carmel apples and apple cider.
Personal pizzas, soup bowls, pulled pork sandwiches, hand dipped ice cream in season fruits and vegetables & more.
Homemade fudge. Pantry full of preserves, mixes, various canned goods (pie filling, jams & jellies, pickled beets or asparagus and more!).

1) Bring your camera!
2) Dress for the weather-almost everything is outside.
3) Check out our Facebook page (great deals, contests...)
4) Create a new family tradition: pick you're own pumpkins!
5) There's a lot to do: set aside plenty of time.
6) Don't forget to visit our neighbors: Rainbow Ranch (horse riding), Oceana Winery & Vineyard (formerly Tartan Hill), Country Dairy, Double JJ Ranch-all located within three miles!
7) Weekends are busy, especially in the fall.
8) Please don't smoke in the barns - hay is very flammable.
9) Place food on your palm & keep your fingers straight (the animals can't see your digits!).
10) Bring a smile - leave with a bigger one!

We offer a number of school tours, with the curriculum geared toward elementary and middle school kids, including:

A) Seeds, B) Fossils, C) Gems.

Plan to include the petting zoo in your trip. It's the largest petting farm in west Michigan!

Seasonal fresh fruit grown on our 800-acre fourth generation family farm including: peaches, pears, apples, asparagus, sweet corn, plums, apricots, green beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, pumpkins (and I'm sure I've forgotten something here!).

2013 marks our 10th year. Watch for celebration plans!
